*cough* Ahem...despite the noble efforts of Kudamon I am still unsure of what role I am to play in this world. She mentioned there was an ongoing battle against evil...creatures called Digimon...demons...it is...complicated it seems.

In light of this I am confident. I wish to lend my strength to the cause. Please to whomever can here this...I am Sarasim of the Sun and Moon tribe and I am seeking a guide.

DATS is the organization working more actively to combat the evil. Organization, intelligence, spy net work. There's not too many actual 'battles' as I've said for the good guys, but they probably would be the most active. Except for maybe the Silver Dragon, but that's because people attack them personally a lot.

People here willingly attack dragons? Why would they provoke such creatures? And Silver Dragons are peaceloving creatures!

The Silver Dragon is a name of an Inn. Well, it's more than one building, but Silver Dragon refers to all the structures connected together.

Yes...I was once visited by a great hero named Cyborg who said the same thing...though he was shown that we were not as simple as he thought.

One should never underestimate human ingenuity. Personally, I couldn't stand a place without computers, but there's been evidence of ancient cultures having ideas to make things that is very similar to technology I have in my world and time.

And the fact you're not freaking out after seeing Junk City when you are from an ancient time, comparatively, is actually impressive.

We're not in a terribly active area...mostly some strange looking Robots and giant gears cranking away...we're in the street however so it's pretty quiet.

Judging by the name of your hero, technology kind of like the parts of him that were 'human.' Though not quite as that advanced. Probably behind a decade or two.

They appear to be people wearing armor and masks.

Yeah but see...they all wear the same uniform and they don't talk or even pay attention to us because we're not stopping them...robots.

That's not surprising. Cyborgs, generally, are only altered in how their body can operate. And sometimes things like they're memory are improved, but unless there's something wrong with their head, they should generally still be human. At least, in most media where I see the cyborg concept explored, so this is all theory.

Robots are made entirely of the non-human parts of a cyborg. Robots usually just follow whatever they're programmed, or told to do. Unless you get an AI robot, which could end up acting human, but nothing is really organic in them.

So...they are made of metal and other materials...but they are not people?

Basically. Until you get into the 'AI' types, they're just machines.

If you need a place to stay, I have an apartment here. I work in a parts shop, so I can explain some of the technology to you. There's a forge we work give some of the scrap metal too, so we could even see if you can get some weapons. Possibly stronger metal alloys than what you use too.

It's like a really, really big house, or hut, with a lot of roofs and floors. I rent a few of the rooms that are connect to each other off a hallway connecting all the rooms on a certain floor.
